The local swim teams are already using it, at rates that don't begin to cover costs. All of us have our pet things we would like see. The problem, of course, is that we do not want to pay the full cost of providing and maintaining these "things." Thus OPA ends up with a lot of "things" all losing money. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I would never have a pool in my own backyard because they're a lot of cost and effort to maintain. An indoor public pool is a nice amenity but costly to the community. Aren't there any swim teams in the area that could use it? I did not endorse the pool. A gym, a real gym that is, yes! But then again I'm a gym rat! Rick
