I understand the current thinking. It seems to me however, the CH will always be an 'expense' in that it is not capable of generating revenue. On the other hand, the YC, if refurbished and expanded could generate revenue and be a significant attraction for OPA. Therefore, I still believe minimum funds should be spent on the CH and the main focus should be the YC. Regards, Bob Anderson

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The YC is on the agenda. However, in terms of maintenance, the Community Hall is the overlooked stepchild of the Ocean Pines community -- by far. If we are going to refurbish any of the existing facilities I believe it should be done right, and that goes for the other facilities in their order. |
