You consider the above comment an estimate? Seriously doubt Steen submitted one; more likely just something he composed off the top of his head or on the back of an envelope.

I see you also practice the tactic of picking one word out of a message and nitpicking it to death, totally ignoring what was written because you have no answer.  In the most recent example you also decided on the word "estimate" and have literally beaten it to death.

It's an estimate, a guess, SWAG, an "in the ballpark" price, a "don't hold me to this" amount, a "hypothetically speaking" amount or whatever else one cares to call it.  It's all the same because it's only one of many initial preliminary figures being floating around.

Somebody gave someone a figure of $500,000 to do something to the old community hall.
