nancy, the GM is not working for us. he's working for the board and they hired him and they can fire him. i don't want any big trees destroyed either. if this happens. the remaining ones should have a big yellow ribbon tied around them. let's get those soldiers home. this is not on subject but there are more Americans killed now in afghanistan than in iraq. -nanci

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, We should ask that the area be marked with some red ties on trees that are on the perimeter or some stakes so we can see exactly what will be happening. Is it with Mr. Ed Tudor that "the buck stops"? Surely he can tell us the answers to these questions.I really want to know the true story about the wastewater plan for the park if this building is built. It could be absolutely devastating to park. I don't see how we could eliminate all those trees without it having a HUGE impact on drainage. I have to go home to do a lot of arrangements for the Independence Day Parade, or I would go down to Snow Hill on Monday...or wherever Mr. Tudor holds forth and ask to see the plans. They must have something there. OR...do you think Mr. Olson would let us see them? He should since he is working for us. Is there anyone else who would be willing to do that? I won't be back for a couple of weeks. We need to get on top of this issue and get the truth. Something does not add up. All this is about finding a place to park a firetruck? I am thinking NOT! Surely we could find a less destructive way to protect a very expensive piece of quipment. You just don't "wreck the forest primeval" to park a truck. Nancy |
