Ray, if $450,000 down the drain is "not a lot of money" then we'll just have to disagree. That $450,000 taken from the wallets of association members could be put to much better use. Also, keep in mind all association members foot the bill for capital costs. If my memory is correct some 15% of the total assessments collected went to support the golf course a year or so ago with the combined operation losses and capital costs total funded by 8400 association members for 300 golfers. Ray, if the golf and YC amenities are so "great" how come more association members are not beating down the doors to use them? I'll answer for my view -- lousy top level management that would not last one year in the REAL world. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe, Thank you for getting all my statements together for all to see. Where or when did I ever say it's OK for us to loose money? Because I can add and subtract. and can agree with your statement that it cost about $54 a year per lot per year to make up for the "cost of amenities", ( I don't call them losses ) That is about one dollar per week per lot...I still say that is not a lot of money for us to subsidize or great amenities. Ray |
