Rick: I would argue that the Beach Club parking lot is not only an amenity, but one of our very best amenities. I would however agree that we gouge those members in order to off set our other not so profitable amenities. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Here is the un audited amenity operation numbers from 2008-2009, does not include any capital expense: I don't believe your figures are a valid representation of amenity operations. The bottom line is skewed because of the inclusion of Beach Parking. Golf, Pools, Tennis, Marina, Tern Grille, Beach Club, Country Club and Yacht Club are amenities. Beach Parking is not an amenity. The real bottom line in your example is a minus $286,079. Don't forget that next year we'll have to add a minus $150,000 to these figures because of the CH operation. |
