Dear Mr. Reynolds: I am not able to attend the Board Meetings due to my work schedule. However, this does not mean that I am apathetic about the passing of the budget. As I stated in an e-mail to Marty Clark, it seems the Board does not realize the difficult economic times that people are having. If the assessments continue to increase yearly, what will we be paying over the next five to ten years? Somewhere along the line, Ocean Pines like any other business should balance the budget. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: most people are working during the afternoon and can't give off their jobs Malarky.... in terms of why there were only 10 people at the meeting. I am sure a good number of the retirees that could attend were probably working too. Just to keep up with thr increases in the dues Malarky again. A more likely scenario is a very large number of retired OPers are in Florida at their winter residences. |
