I could not attend either and I attend a lot of Ocean Pines Association, Inc. meetings.  The meeting was not announced until the very last minute and after any hope the time and place could be published in any newspaper.  The meeting was held in the board room so even if a crowd had tried to attend they would not have been able to get a seat.  Clearly the board had had enough of their pesky old constituency.  They did not want anyone at the meeting who might expect the board and management to actually do the right thing which would have required cutting spending when it is so much easier to just raise the assessment.
