| Before we criticise the members for not showing up at the "budget" meeting this week remember most people are working during the afternoon and can't give off their jobs. Also I am sure a good number of the retirees that could attend were probably working too. Just to keep up with thr increases in the dues. Just a thought | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: "sparked the debate over the budget at the very conclusion of the yearly process" Give me a break! "The very conclusion of the yearly process"? I picked up the very first budget book hot off the press late in the afternoon of January 6, 2011. The so called "yearly process" only lasted seven weeks. I started screaming about the method used to prepare the budget and the use of a pre-determined $853.00 assessment as a starting point on January 7, 2011. Marty |
