Ditto to Newport Bay. It's not the weather! The Bay club has lost lots of areas and members are quite mad. Beach Club closed,but all other Ruark courses are pristine. Management change at Bay Club. Management change OP.Go figure. Maybe it's the super who is good at budget and has the expertise to"beat the heat." |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: For what it is worth, I played the Newport Bay course at Ocean City Golf Club yesterday and the course was in fine shape. All the excuses about the weather and the short root system appear to be just that, excuses. I played with my son and six guests. I would normally have played at the Pines, but not with the poor conditions as they are now. It upsets me that I had to take my business elsewhere. |
