If we use the 2011 audited statement and divide that negative amount by your number of 280 members and all we need to do is add approximately $2,400.00 to the existing member dues. BTW, the dues at Ocean Pines would then be right in line with other private golf clubs like near by Cripple Creek. Sounds like a great idea to me. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: As far as having anyone dig in their pocket , I take care of my own... Bill, Then in that case, you would be comfortable paying the actual costs to play golf at Ocean Pines... if the other 8,400 or so of us who do not need our own course refuse to "dig into their pockets" to pay for a golf course for those few who do (280?)...what would it cost you to play a round of golf? Just divide the golf course operational budget + the millions for recent and projected improvements by 280...carry the million or two dollars and?????? You see "we have to dig into our pockets" to support your need to play golf whether we agree or not. Steve |
