Marty,
Thanks for confirming that the operational losses can be stemmed rather easily. The main objection to the new building has been operational performance. Logically, if simply operating the restaurant seasonally will alleviate that issue, then those basing their objections solely on operations may find that is no longer a reason not to support the new building. While we have disagreed on approach to this project, we do agree on seasonal operation and I will support a move to do just that in our new Yacht Club. This then can be a win-win. Ted |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ted: "If we can't operationally make money, why keep it open?" Close the club in the off season and it makes money. Look at the history of sales. This is not rocket science. Marty |
