Even though an infrequent user of the YC I do not want to see the YC closed however we now have an opportunity to rectify the YC operating losses by building a smaller facility that would more then meet the needs of the summer crowd. We have an opportuinty for a paradigm shift but it appears we want to stay on the road map. If we do it is my strong opinion that we will continue to have losses at the YC,
John, Thank you. That sums it up quite well. Norm |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe Over the years you have been a very outspoken critic of the the YC and other amenities operating losses and you have also been critical of past Boards and the GMS of how they managed these amenities. What has changed that you now see the YC breaking even. Catering has made money but not sufficient to offset the restaurant portion of the club. How will it do it now? Alsowhy are we building a facility that will require the outside community to support to break even? No one has provided at least to me adequate answers to these questions other then the fact that if we don't do something the YC will need to closed.
