This issue is, there is no basis to believe the results will be any different with a new Yacht Club or rehabbing the old. From past performance there is not a single shred of evidence that supports it.
That is what is really insulting. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: My, my you are getting awfully edgy. I'm a bit confused, how does my comment to Don insult you, or Don for that matter? Here we go again -- off on the tangents. You suggested to Don that he was drinking the board "Kool Aid." I believe such a comment was insulting to Don, intentional or not. You then reply to me and say, "Maybe you must be buying what the BOD is selling?" Now you say I'm getting edgy. Al, if I am edgy it is only becasue I do not wish the forum to become a place where others are insulted for their opinions. If the "real" issue isn't the building, rather the operation, then stick to the issue as you see it. Telling Don he was drinking the board's Kool Aid isn't sticking to the issue. |
