Actually, there is a basis to believe things will get better. For the first time in my memory, we have hired a well qualified manager to run an operation like this. He has only been on the job for a couple of months... but I see positive changes at the Club. In my opinion, the food and service are better and there is more variety.
It took us 40 years or do to screw it up so a complete change in two months is not possible. Will it get better? I do not know ... but I am willing to give this significant change a chance to work and I have increased my use of the club on that basis. Hope to see you there sometime. Jeff Knepper |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: This issue is, there is no basis to believe the results will be any different with a new Yacht Club or rehabbing the old. From past performance there is not a single shred of evidence that supports it. That is what is really insulting. |
