Section 5: OPA Board Subject: Vote YES on YC Referendum Msg# 839674

Marty,
Why? If we can't operationally make money, why keep it open? Why dump money into a pit? A number of people on this forum are voting no because they don't want OPA in the Food and Beverage business. If that is the majority and there is no groundswell for a one story structure, it might indicate the board is truly listening to the owners. As to a cheap threat, get real. Do you think someone will change their vote from no to yes based on the fact the board might shut/tear the place down? In fact that's what it appears a fair amount want to have happen. I think it has as good a chance as any other outcome. Ted |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ted: "I think there is as good a chance that the board will say that they will not dump money in the existing building and unless there is an outpouring of interest in a one story structure, they will close and tear down the existing structure" I think there is absolutely no chance of that scenario ever happening. NONE! I will bet you you on it. I also think your saying such a line of BS is as a cheap scare tactic. Marty |
