Seriously? Is there no way for the residents to act upon this?? I plan on attending the meeting on Tuesday, but am only one voice.

I attended one of Bob Thompson's "hard sell" tours of the yacht club late this summer. The meeting was held over when I asked him out right to speak to the rumors of a bid on the River Run property. He flat out denied any offers on the property. He said that there was always interest to property bordering OP that could affect our values. Understood.

I feel very duped by this man who's integrity to me now is zilch. I don't believe that the board should be able to spend the amount of our funds without a referendum. I was pleased to see that Marty Clark had the guts to call the board out on these and other issues. I am not at all surprised to learn the board is trying to railroad him. I can only hope that "good" can win out over "evil".

This board is running our OPA like our government. I would feel a whole lot better if the residents had more input in how "OUR" funds are used. I'm beginning to believe we need to clean house and start over with a whole new board, that actually works for the people of OP.
