Kevin,
I totally agree with you. Having the beach club is a great amenity, but it is poorly designed. When we go to the beach, the biggest complaint from my family is always the bathroom situation. They always come out and say"can't something be done with the bathrooms?" I agree that the amenity that makes the most money is the most neglected. Maybe if we bring it to the attention of the GM and BOD, they will give the beach more priority. I'm sure that other association members feel the same way. John |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: So.... let's spend hundreds of thousands on new bathrooms because the old ones are not kept clean? I certainly did not suggest that we spend hundreds of thousands of dollars. In fact, it's hard for me to believe why such a budget for rest rooms would be so high.
It's my belief that the current configuartion problems are actually due to an ineffective rehab.
It was "out of order" for the entire day which happened to be over the July 4th week. The next day it was fixed. The real problem is that ladies need more toilets than men do and outdated designs rarely accounted for this. Most current public rest room designs take this into consideration. You missed the real point of the post. The ammentity that attracts the most people with the most profits gets neglected! Kevin |
