That low-ball figure has become rather meaningless in the larger picture of what's been going our of the members pocketbooks, the $120 range.
Well, you may think so but I don't. The operational loss number is the only worthwhile number that can change. If our operational loss is reduced to zero the depreciation cost remains. If the golf course were to become a park do you believe the depreciation cost for prior investment in the course will just disappear? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There you go again. Restating the low-ball number. I think that we're long past the time when others here are giving any credence to the low-ball figure. That low-ball figure has become rather meaningless in the larger picture of whats been going out of members pocketbooks, the $120 range. And even that $120 figure is higher with the capital outlays that have been occurring. Joe pegs those at $5 million already spent, and more still to be spent. Maybe give the low-ball a rest ?? |
