I keep hearing this anecdotally from individuals. However, if it was in fact so important then it seems there would be more golf members and less losses.

Taking it away will diminish one of the lures of Ocean Pines.

And making it open space might make it an even greater OP attraction for buyers.

As you can see I am a strong supporter of the golf course and many OP residents that I associate with feel the same way.   

I certainly understand. Not everyone agrees. That's a good reason to have association members decide the issue in a referendum.
