For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: First of all I am not saying that I am right or anyone here is wrong. Nor am I. Short term savings does not equal a long term strategic redeployment of the asset. My position is any possible money savings is secondary to having a more valuable amenity in open space. How many homes actually have golf course rear borders? I believe about 1300 out of 8440 association members. so I will end with we all (all homeowners) need to have full understanding of the consequences of this decision should it go to referendum...before we potentially kill the golden goose which is the character of OP. The above more or less indicates you would not vote for open space despite any study producing a positive result for open space. And that is certainly OK. This is not an issue where there will ever be universal agreement regardless of pros and cons for each use. All any association member can do should the issue go to referendum is vote as they see fit. |
