I think you'd need an egg beater larger than needle sized to ward off mother goose while you are scrambling her small fry(ed) egg.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Everyone is welcome have an opinion. Thanks Joe, here are a few: 1/ COPE: If the course is re-purposed, the association membership had better see a significant reduction in the annual assessment. Otherwise, all you'll hear from the 'keepers' is "we lost a great golf amenity and got nothing for it." A while back I mentioned, on the Forum, that a 18-hole chip and putt might be a good investment considering OPA youth, family activities, seniors et al. The land is there and the thought is that perhaps a golf course consultant could produce a re-design using as much of the current course geometry as possible. 2/ Geese: I recall hearing about a solution that does not require relocating or killing existing geese. It seems there's a process that involves rendering the eggs in the nest useless. There's an instrument they use to penetrate the egg (needle-size egg beater) that stirs the yolk. The goose is unaware that the egg is lifeless and will continue to fulfill its parental duties... sounds a bit expensive and time-consuming, but it might be something the Board could look in to. Thanks, Bob
