I'm clearly from one of those Tier 2 or even Tier 3 institutions, I can hardly understand any of the questions, not from lack of basic English but from lack of knowledge concerning those issue. I would have opinions, but that's all and we all know opinions are like that part of the anatomy we all possess, the belly button. Some are innies some are outies and some are full of lint. But they all work as intended. I don't know many people who could provide meaningful answers to those questions, so GIGO has already been established.
I did learn one thing at my second or third rate university, advice given by a smart advisor when seeking an advanced degree. First, pick a question that has an answer and second, of all those questions, pick one that you can answer. Seems the BoD could use my old advisor's input. A cogent issue seems to be: How do we stop this? Maybe that question doesn't have an answer. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: One can debate the merits of the study and the proposed methodology My concern is a garbage in, garbage out scenario that does not reflect a majority view of 8,450 association members. I am especially concerned that the views of the over 50% of the property owners who do not live fulltime in OP will not receive as much input as from those who live here. My antenna go up when I hear of the importance of the opinions of "residents" and OPA staff, and people outside Ocean Pines with regard to our future..... and not a single reference to "association members." And for All, here are the nine questions:
Questions from CLIENT: 1. What is the viability of membership's ability to afford operational and capital improvement costs of the Ocean Pines Home Owners Association? |
