I find myself in total agreement with your comments and sentiment….a somewhat scary thought ( lol). The monies would be better spent surveying the entire HOA population via Survey Monkey to answer the questions posed. Moreover, it could be expanded to include the sentiments on the level of amenities the owners want to support. Monies spent on the front end will serve the population of OP well but the survey as proposed does not require the type of inquiry that is being proposed. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: One can debate the merits of the study and the proposed methodology My concern is a garbage in, garbage out scenario that does not reflect a majority view of 8,450 association members. I am especially concerned that the views of the over 50% of the property owners who do not live fulltime in OP will not receive as much input as from those who live here. My antenna go up when I hear of the importance of the opinions of "residents" and OPA staff, and people outside Ocean Pines with regard to our future..... and not a single reference to "association members." And for All, here are the nine questions:
Questions from CLIENT: 1. What is the viability of membership's ability to afford operational and capital improvement costs of the Ocean Pines Home Owners Association? |
