If they had the credentials to teach at a top tier university they would but they don't so they can't!
You have an obviously biased opinion that anyone not teaching at Johns Hopkins, for example, is not qualified to teach at Johns Hopkins. Certainly there are schools with great faculty. However, to follow this nonsense to a logical conclusion, every teacher with the ability to qualify for a big name place is already teaching in a big name place and no teacher with a job at any other place is qualified to teach at a big name place. Pure nonsense, and the worst sort of generalization about people. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'm not condemning anybody Joe, just stating a simple fact. If they had the credentials to teach at a top tier university they would but they don't so they can't! Check their CV's, see where they did their graduate and post graduate work then you will understand my point. |
