| Excuse me Mr Bauersmith, my daughter graduated from Salisbury and she is doing quite well, thank you. She made the comment to me many years ago that she thought the teachers at SU were quite good. Yes I realized that the school is not in the league with Ivy league schools, but it didn't have the same price tag. I think you unfairly criticize the teachers, you assume that they are at Salisbury because they "can't make the cut". Have you ever thought they may be here for different reasons? Say quality of life? Teaching instead of publishing? There are good and bad in any profession including teaching. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The reason they teach at Salisbury and not say The University of Maryland or John Hopkins is their credentials are not strong enough to make the cut. So, you condemn the entire teaching staff to mediocrity right off the top of your head. You do keep me surprised.... on a regular basis. |
