I said that to the best of my knowledge there was never a formal vote by any BOD to accept the golf governors as a official advisory committee from 2007 - today. Perhaps Dan can prove me wrong by directing us to the minutes and the vote. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Dan. Hope all is well down there in Florida. I'm wondering if you can confirm or clarify my memory of the Golf Governors back around 2004 or even earlier. My recollection is that it was board policy to accept the elected Golf Governors as the OPA golf advisory group and to appoint a board liaison to that group. This went on until around 2007 when Dave Stevens pushed to have non governors on an advisory committee. Marty Clarke says that was never the case. What is your recollection? |
