There was a "permanent" board resolution in the Book of Resolutions that made the Golf Governors the de facto Golf Advisory Committee.
Thanks Dan. That is my recollection as well. I recall reading the resolution. The resolution was changed after I left my initial six years on the Board -- by whom, specifically, I don't know. Happened around 2007. Dave Stevens was instrumental. It was decided to have a new committee with several golf governors and several regular golf members or just golfers. It all ended when Caper took over. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There was a "permanent" board resolution in the Book of Resolutions that made the Golf Governors the de facto Golf Advisory Committee. The Board did a pro forms approval of this "appointment" once during my service on the Board and I, in fact, served one year as liaison. The resolution was changed after I left my initial six years on the Board -- by whom, specifically, I don't know. Dan |
