Section 5: OPA Board Subject: It Was Embarrassing Msg# 937294

This may or may not be the case.
Now, Stevens and Collins are upset that the GM may know the plan, but is not sharing the plan with them? Well, the GM said last month that he gave the plan to liaison Cordwell but he could share with other board members. At any rate, are you suggesting the GM or Cordwell could be privy to confidential info from LU but not all elected board members? What are you suggesting? Oooops. I see the question mark means you are not suggesting anything, just trying to perhaps knock Stevens and Collins. Also note that the board, by a 5-2 vote with only Cordwell and Jacobs voting NO, passed a motion to have LU attend a public board meeting and discuss what they planned to do. I have requested a copy of the LU contract from the GM. No response as yet. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I believe what you call a "report" is actually some sort of business plan prepared by LU to increase golf memberships among association members. This is the business plan approach LU told the board it would use when the board decided to replace Casper with LU early in 2015. This may or may not be the case. When LU was asked during the competitive interview process regarding their plan for increasing membership, LU claimed that their plan was "proprietary" and they could not reveal the plan to anyone. Stevens, Collins, Renaud and Clarke voted to give management of our course to LU even though LU would not reveal their plan to increase membership. Now, Stevens and Collins are upset that the GM may know the plan, but is not sharing the plan with them? |
