The heck to having a Golf advisory Group has to do with having an intelligent filter between the Golf Council, other nonsense and giving golf management useful wise advise. Obviously golf management in OP requires all the help they can get whether they want it or not. Frank |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'm not sure it's that important to increase full time golf memberships unless "Golf" has a real full time Golf Advisory group. What the heck does having a golf advisory group have to do with increasing memberships? I'd prefer 1000 memberships and no advisory group. It may not be politically correct to say so, but most of the advisory groups produce little impact on OPA. Rarely do the chairs or committee members even attend board meetings. |
