Now that that bull has jumped the fence, I think it's quite possible that the county will someday seek to have every house in the neighboring area hooked up to the plant for "ecological" reasons. My remark was in jest but I see expansion coming...someday.
Again, I doubt much expansion to OP plant. The "expansion" will be via the county purchased Perdue (or some chicken plant) processing facility a few years ago. Once the recession is over and the economy begins to expand, that facility will drive development across the entire north end of the county. Tens of thousands of EDUs I expect. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I can remember the wailing about keeping the treatment plant for OPA alone.
