The Maryland assessment dept values golf course lot $20,000 more than a non golf course lot. Are you willing to pay each of those owners the $20K after it is turned into a park?
Where can I find this in writing from the state? At any rate, I assume you have assurances or knowledge that the assessment would not go up if the area was open space instead of a golf course? Appraised values are based on prior sales of similar homes in the same area. |
