As a slip holder at the YC, I believe this would be a great service that would catch on fast...with no additional costs involved to the YC.
You could be correct... and it certainly would not take much to test this idea for a season or two. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I was quite disappointed to read about the food truck. One could only hope that our management would concentrate all their efforts on getting the Yatch Club to provide the stake holders a reasonable return on investment BEFORE jumping into additional, speculative ventures. One suggestion I provided last summer that would increase revenues & enhance customer service would be to provide food service to the boat slips. All that the YC management would have to do is to provide a phone number that one could call from one's boat..take the order & have a waiter deliver. As a slip holder at the YC, I believe this would be a great service that would catch on fast...with no additional costs involved to the YC. Unfortunately, when I proposed this to the YC, I was told..."Oh, we could not do that" What a shame !! |
