For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Larry - I appreciate your response and will support your efforts as I believe there is an absolute need to reign in the "tax and spend" approach this board seems to support. In my professional life, as I suspect in many other OPA members, decisions are made on relevant data that shows, among other things, demand for the product service, the up front financial investment, ongoing operational costs and the effects of the previous two items on the overall fiscal budget. The list goes on, but I hope my point is made. I am interested in what drove the decision to have a food truck as, absent of any relevant data to support the idea, I believe this concept and associated expense are absurd! Doug Parks |
