For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe Just thinking how the OP/OC Kiwanis Club may react to this idea. They have been supplying hot dogs, etc. for years at OP events TO RAISE MONEY FOR THEIR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS. If OPA decides to compete with them, then I see a potential political storm brewing. As far as budget details go, there was a faction of the B&FAC that feels only "big picture" items are worthy of review. Discussions about smaller dollar items were being discouraged when I left the committee in October (my term expired and I did not apply for an extension). Gene |
