Hi John, The D.C. Rec Dept. has turned over three recreation centers during the day for adult Pickleball. After school hours, they go back to regular youth activities. Pickleball is best indoors, and very popular. I wonder if our Pavillion floor at WHPark could be striped for pickleball and screened somewhat? It could be used on rainy days. I think the players should help pay for additional courts the way that other groups have done. Nancy | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Neil Just some info for you. I taught H.S. Physical education in Md. I taught pickelball over 25 years ago, we first tried it outside not to good, we had wind screens on the tennis courts. Had courts on the gym floor, much better. I'll say this the students really enjoyed the game. Again much better inside. john |
