What action do think the facilities manager and the director of parks and recs should take.
Whom do you think directs the public works dept and don't tell me the director of PW. He gets his marching orders from the GM I never said I knew what is being reported to the GM. I believe he is to report to the GM monthly the condition of all the facilities and that is the end of his responsibility and even more so his authority |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You have no idea what the facilities manager is reporting to the GM as it relates to what needs to be done. Nor do you. The only two who know that is the Facilities Manager and the GM. What I do know is if the Facilities Manager is aware that maintenance needs to be accomplished for whatever reason, and fails to act on that information, then the Facilities Manager needs to be held accountable. How does one manage facilities and not be held accountable to act on known maintenance needs? Maintenance people only do what they are told to do by the GM. Nonsense. |
