For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think that the beach club's separate location from OPines was the main reason for the separate entity treatment, for IRS tax purposes. I have never seen any documentation supporting that idea. It might be so, but just rumor from what I know. You perhaps recall that legislation was needed before there were alcohol drinks allowed at the beach club. That would be news to me. Needed to get OK for YC alcohol license to apply to separate location, needed enabling legislation. Also news to me. The YC license does not apply to the Beach Club; in fact, the two licenses are different. One is full license, the other is a club license and that's why we cannot sell booze to general public at Beach Club. |
