I asked Director Trendic to schedule this forensic audit as a special meeting. He did not do so. Indeed, this issue demands a special meeting devoted to the audit issue, as well as the board allowing a more relaxed association member participation in the discussion.
This lame attempt by one or more board members to limit any investigation to looking at POS is a joke and no more than another attempt to hide the truth from association members. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Joe: I have mentioned this before, but it is worth repeating. The regular monthly board meeting has been re-scheduled to February 25, a "SUNDAY" at noon. Totally unacceptable. This might be the first Sunday meeting in the history of Ocean Pines. Approval of the 2018-2019 budget, hiring of a new Yacht Club manager/partner, discussions with regard to the incredible losses and the proposal to hire a forensic auditor. Nothing important. Marty |
