Do you think that any board member (Pat Supik?)would reply if asked how the YC lost a substantial amount of money in January when it was closed?
I can speculate on a reply: This was a personnel matter settlement and we cannot discuss the matter in public. The payment was not for work performed at the Yacht Club in January but for prior work there or a contract settlement. We have been advised by our attorney not to discuss the matter, especially with the people paying the bills. The last part was just foolin', the board would not say that. Then again maybe the board will say there was $141,000 labor related to mold remediation in January. I have no idea, and nothing would surprise me. |

The payment shows up in January, and thus the loss in January operations even though the facility was closed.
