For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: For example, it has been longstanding OPA policy to allow homeowners to be put on assessment payment plans which results in more accounting and delays revenue - a process that you would pass on to Legum/Norman in which that individual service would be billed at a per piece/transaction rate back to the HOA. Eliminate that convenience and get paid up front on a credit card. Let the homeowner carry the debt. Indeed. Although I wouldn't call it longstanding... well I suppose 12 or so years could be. I was opposed to the payment plan when it was initiated and remain opposed to it. You are correct, the homeowner should carry the debt. |
