Was that a factory color on the '57?
Had my 56 painted Corvette Burnt orange with black rolled and pleated interior. Stupid though, never kept any pictures. Could throw four bodies in the trunk! |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Loved my 56 Chevy I can't say it was "exactly" mine but when Andrea began her teaching career in 1967 she needed a car to travel to Caesar Rodney in Delaware from Wilkes Barre, Pa. I found her a 1957 Chevy in great condition and, even though it was a 4 door, it still looked sharp. Then some guy came around a corner when we were stopped at an intersection and hit her. Completely his fault but the insurance company "totaled" her car and what she received for the car was much less than what it was worth.
