At the end of it's production run G.M. had it pretty well figured out. And how that spyder would run. Was involved in a t bone collision involving a corvair. I was driving a 68 mercury cyclone when I was t boned ,was ejected from my car with out receiving a scratch. Corvair was smashed clear up to the windshield. Neither of the passangers injured. Pure luck on both accounts. Police estimated speed some where in the mid 80s when he hit me. My car was hit so hard it actually pushed the frame out from under car. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Except Ralph didn't know what he was talking about. He made people paranoid about a car that late models were pretty reliable. Well Ralph needed something to kick off his career. I often wondered if he ever drove a Corvair since he never had a drivers license. I did like the Corvair Spyder. |
