Sorry to disagree, but every big company I have worked for has had a program like this. IMHO it is definitely not a first grade exercise. At the company I retired from, these individual rewards had up to $500 attached to them. They were s great morale booster and employees really loved them. I received a number of these and appreciated each one more for the thought than the money... soooooo... I would certainly do this program... will be nice to know that sometimes... employees are saying nice things about each other... only change I would make is to have each award get miney, not just a few whi get drawn. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: This is embarrassing. It seems like an exercise a first grade teacher would come up with for his/her students. Do the employees that win the drawings get an extra fifteen minutes recess? |
