From: Mark Mitchell like all travel trailers, it is 8 feet high. Hi Mark, Ok.....so you have led us through this long discussion because YOU went out and bought a HUGE trailer that knew was a VIOLATION??? EIGHT FEET HIGH?? That is the height of a room in a house!! Ocean Pines is NOT that kind of place, and you knew it. I would have given you about four or five days before I reported you. I would ask first if there was some particular NEED at the time to have it there for a little while. If people want to own trailers, they should make storage arrangements BEFORE they buy them. There are allowances for someone to visit for a short time or maybe some other unusual circumstance. OPA is not out looking for violations, they should be reported as soon as they occur. You say that there are trailers all over the place. They need to be reported. Ocean Pines is not "that kind of place" and that is why I was attracted to it. There must be some safe place close by that will store your trailer and all the others that are in violation. The BoD should get on this. Nancy |
