| I meant to mention Jack that the little trailer you picked out is really quite nice. Interestingly, there is an Airstream almost exactly like it (except that it is about 10 ft longer) right here in good old Ocean Pines. The inspector tells me it is permanently permitted, even though it extends beyond the restriction line and is not shielded from public view. Did you notice the price tag on your little beauty ? I'm surprised that a $60,000 toy could be referred to (as some people have) as "tacky", and to suggest that a luxury type item such as this would be a detriment to property values is ludicrous, especially in view of the fact that it is not a permanent structure. In fact, I would suspect that the presence of something like this would be an indicator of an affluent neighborhood, which would likely be a positive for many prospective buyers. I guess the committee likes Airstreams (or it's owner) and doesn't like Coachmens (or me). Another arbitrary decision on the part of ARC. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: 19 ft . . . if you know anything about travel trailers you'll know that they don't come much smaller than that. Actually there are many travel trailers 16' and under. Here is one under 15' from Airstream. TRAILER They may not meet your requirements but there are plenty for sale if you check. |
