I received the following statement from Director Trendic via an email:

"Yesterday afternoon I first learned about Director Horn's motion when I saw the meeting’s agenda on our (OPA) website.  Director Horn’s request to go into a closed session citing employees and personnel matters and then her decision to identify me by name is wrong on many levels."

Now, let's talk about the utter stupidity of the ethics code pushed through by Director Horn last year. It states that disposition of complaints against Directors be "addressed by the Board in a public meeting." Yet the next sentence essentially voids that by saying for purposes of determining if such a meeting and charge can be done in closed session that Directors shall be considered "employees of the Association."

By naming Trendic, Horn may have violated the very ethics code she now apparently wishes to use against Trendic.

You gotta love this place.
