My use of punctuation is correct English. I am sorry if correct punctuation confuses you.
No, I do not care to comment on the source’s comment about Bailey. The piece is a rather long one regarding what transpired in the Douty firing and all you can think of is punctuation and a sidebar note about Bailey. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Context of the prior Douty quote helps reader to understand and was introduced as Douty wrote this. Then two separate paragraphs. However, quotes from reliable source are appearing with text of the writers comments. They are not at the beginning of the paragraph. If those reliable source quotes had begun a separate paragraph, there would be no need for clarification. Then your grammar reference would be much more apparent. For example you've said if a quote spans more that one paragraph each paragraph begins with a quote mark but only the last paragraph ends with a quote mark. Care to elaborate on the issue of Bailey's skill limitations. Here's those comments again "There is also a realization after time that GM Bailey, while a really nice guy, does not actually possess the skill set to manage an organization like OP. Bailey is liked on a personal level but there is a realization by senior Department Managers that Bailey does not have the skills to make things happen. His office is known as the dark hole of action." |
