For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Very courageous of you to come forward years after the damage has already been done with this information. Truly admirable. One might wonder why you didn't say anything to anyone while all this was going on. I wonder if the auditors decided to take a gander at tip declaration. I wonder if they saw anything which might indicate that tips declared by staff were altered after the fact. I wonder if servers and bartenders were allowed to only declare credit card tips and not cash tips. I wonder if it was noticed that when staff started to question practices like these, they were all fired, but not before being told to keep quiet because "he's all of our boss, now" and this was the way things were going to be. Golly. That could be... awkward. But, hey! Not saying anything like that happened! I'm just musing out loud. Oh well. Water under the bridge, right? All's well that ends well. Have a lovely Summer! |
