Joe, perhaps my point was not clear. I am not taking issue with the individual, but with the process.
Sorry, I did not understand that; your words led me to think otherwise. I believe people have the right to change the system. However, I think this could have been handled without going to court. Litigation is expensive and, in this instance, unnecessary. The obvious question is how could this have been handled by the petitioners without going to court? Not sure if you have followed this petition issue, but the board simply rejected what is apparently a valid petition and refuses to even discuss the issue with the petitioners. Furthermore, the board was required under the bylaws to take certain actions after receiving the petition. The board ignored the bylaw requirements. What other course do the petitioners have, based on the board's actions? The petitioners have done everything to follow the board's own Resolution on petitions. The board is violating the bylaws and the Resolution. |
